WOW.... November has been a whirlwing...
To say it’s been a tough month would be an understatement. My mental health has been rocking my world more than I ever expected, and to add to the challenge, I was let go from my day job. At first, it felt like the rug was pulled out from under me, and I’ll be honest – it tore me apart. But as time passed, I realized deep down that this was exactly what needed to happen.
A Change Was Needed
even if I was too scared to admit it
One thing that has really stood out during this time is the importance of recognizing when you need to make a change. Sometimes, we push ourselves too hard, thinking we can handle it all, but the truth is, it’s okay to ask for help when you need it. It’s okay to acknowledge that you’re not okay. Learning to lean on others for support has been a huge part of my healing, and I encourage you to do the same. BetterHelp has been a great resource for me and my busy life.
We don't have to go through life's challenges alone, and the strength we gain from opening up and seeking help can make all the difference.

And as much as I’m still navigating the changes in my life, I’m excited about the road ahead. Going full-time with my photography business is both exhilarating and nerve-wracking, but I’m ready for it. I’m ready to pour my heart into every session and give you the best experience possible.

As is custom, we will be making our own improvements.
With the start of the new year and a new outlook on our business, we will be revamping our pricing and session structure in general to reflect our new direction. But don't you worry, our vision and approach to photography will still be the same: lifestyle/documentary-esque sessions full of whimsy and candid action.
These changes are huge, and I can’t help but feel nervous, but I’m also incredibly excited about the future. What I know for sure is that this is the right step, and I’m so thankful for the opportunity to grow alongside all of you.
